We are knowledgeable of the several uses of the internet. How we use the same depends on each of our purpose or purposes. You can practically have everything you want through the internet. Having logged on to youtube for several days, there are videos that teenager should be prohibited to peek. Women’s sanctity has been put into trash. Videos such as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb9JSiy86tk images a woman who wanted to ask for money by showing a little skin. No one knows whether or not the videos are edited. The fact is they were published to the public claiming that these women are scammers and so forth. These and several others are published in youtube without considering the privacy of these women. Granting without admitting that they made mistakes by doing such alleged acts are these publishers entitled to ruin the lives of these women by publicly viewing their faces, names and other personal circumstances? Are they really scammers or victims of abuses?

Let us be considerate to our fellow human beings. We are a community with different nationalities, traditions and customs. To live peacefully in this world we must help one another. If you felt you have been defrauded retaliate by doing not unlawful or inhuman acts towards such persons; otherwise, you are nothing different to the latter.

PREPARING FOR GRADUATION

In the Philippines, the usual date for graduation is March; others may have it early April of every year. This is the day when dreams are brought into reality. Why? In third countries like ours, education is the key to alleviate the poor conditions of living. If you finished a four-degree course you have great chances of obtaining a stable job. And if you work hard there’s a possibility that you will be successful and earn more than enough money to build a family or satisfy one’s needs. This for sure is everyone’s dream.

If you are graduating or you have a child, or friend who is graduating, he or she deserves a celebration even if it be a minute celebration. The preparation is another thing that should not be taken for granted. You will never know who will come to join you in your achievement. But then again it is not necessary that it be a big celebration. All you have to do is to fix the time and place of the occasion and beforehand you must have invited and contacted close relatives and friends to come over. It does not matter whether you hold it in your house alone or in another place, what is essential is the convenience of all the persons involved and most especially the person graduating. Furthermore, you must celebrate in accordance to what you can spend and not too much of what you have.

The thing is, what is important is the thought of giving appreciation of all the late nights and diligence that the graduating student did when he or she was still a student. Graduation is not the end but a beginning for another phase of a more tasking and complicated life ahead.

WAITING TO BE HANGED

All of us have been into school, right? Some of us may be excellent in their own way while others are just there without realizing what their purpose in studying is. It seemed like we are obliged to be in school. It seemed like there’s nothing we can do but to finish our studies especially in third world countries like ours where parents would say that the only treasure that they could left behind with their children is their having finished their studies and have become professionals in their own different fields. In our country, finishing a degree is a big deal. Not only you made your parents proud of you but also it’s your chance of helping them to alleviate from their status of living.

Now the thing is it’s hard to graduate except of course to those who have been very serious in their studies right from the start. However, even the so-called excellent students are doing their best not only to graduate but to graduate with honors. These groups of students have their own tendencies of being doubtful of their standing also. Waiting for several days to know whether or not you will graduate seemed to be like your being hanged to death. The pressure is so high that you really don’t know what to feel and what to expect not to mention also that there are people surrounding you waiting what is your real standing. Keeping within you the intensity of waiting is so difficult also. As days passed by you seemed very exhausted of the thought about it. A day seemed to be a week or even a month or worst a year. The feeling is unexplainable. The thought of graduating makes you feel excited. On the other hand, the idea of failing makes you wanna fade. You wanted to hide the excitement to prepare for whatever the result may be. It definitely is like being hanged to death.

The reality is in life there are times that we just need to wait. Our chance to prove that we are worthy to graduate is already finished. This time is beyond our limits. All we have to do is be prepared and accept whatever faith comes our way.

For one, I am a second-courser. I could not say that I enjoyed the life of being a second-courser neither do I despise the same. I enrolled the second time around just to have something to do aside from working eight hours a day. However, due to circumstances beyond my control, I resigned from my previous job. Now, I am a full time student. I applied several times for a job, but of no avail. It came to a point where it affected my relationship with my parents, brothers, sisters and boyfriend, to the extent that I questioned God of what seemed to be the problem with me.

At the age of almost thirty, I still am a student. It was a bit different when I was in my secondary and tertiary level. At that time, you were only thinking of passing your subjects. You are concentrated only on your studies nothing else. The main purpose at that time is to have a passing grades and graduate from that course so that you can work in the future to help your parents. It was the time of knowing and learning new ideas. It was even yet the moment of discovering friends and building a deep relationship with them. By the time that you already experienced working and then stopped and proceeded to study for another course is somewhat a different case. There are instances when you wonder why on earth are you still a full time student when you can do both, that is working and studying. This question bothers you as you go along with your studies and somehow affects your standing as a student. There is no more concentration because of the aim to have you own job and have your own income. But what if, having a job is not really meant for you at the moment. I mean no matter how hard you look for it, the chances seemed so narrow day by day.

Fact is, you exist for a purpose. However, there are circumstances in life that cannot be explained of. This is one of the complications that an individual has to undergo. In the end, it may be worth everything.
