Donald Trump Says No for US Presidential Election 2012

I thought Donald Trump will announce his final decision during the season finale of Celebrity Apprentice. However, as early as last Monday, Donald Trump made a decision. And this decision is final.

Donald Trump made his announcement for declining to run for the 2012 US Presidential Election last Monday at the Hilton Hotel in Manhattan. Here is what Donald Trump declared, “After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency,” he said. “This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.”

Donald Trump Presidential announcement press conference details will be revealed during the Celebrity Apprentice season finale. The date? That will be on May 22.

Barack Obama for 2012 Presidential Election

Twenty (20) months from now, the US Presidential Election is on. If you have voted for President Barack Obama in the previous election, will you vote for him in the 2012 Presidential Elections?

As early as today, President Barack Obama is confirming to run for US President in the upcoming election. In fact, he is already asking for your support to relay the information. Obviously, blogging about it is one way of relaying the message. But take note that this post is not for the purpose of campaigning for President Barack Obama.

Anyway, according to President Barack Obama, “We’re opening up offices, unpacking boxes, and starting a conversation with supporters like you to help shape our path to victory." He added, “We’re doing this now because the politics we believe in does not start with expensive TV ads or extravaganzas, but with you — with people organizing block-by-block, talking to neighbors, co-workers, and friends. And that kind of campaign takes time to build."

This post will be updated for the 2012 US President winner. Will President Barack Obama be re-elected?

David Broder Dead

David Broder is dead. David Broder is a political columnist. He is not simply a columnist but a Pulitzer-Prize winner.

David Broder died today. He died of complications from diabetes. David Broder died at the age of 81.

Below is a statement released by President Barack Obama:
"Like so many here in Washington and across the country, Michelle and I were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of a true giant of journalism, David Broder. David filed his first story from our nation’s capital before starting as a junior political writer on the 1960 presidential election. In the decades that followed, he built a well-deserved reputation as the most respected and incisive political commentator of his generation – winning a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of Watergate and earning the affectionate title of Dean of the Washington press corps. Through all his success, David remained an eminently kind and gracious person, and someone we will dearly miss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in this difficult time."
