In the Philippines, the live telecast of American Idol is every Wednesday at 6 pm that is tomorrow. Even non-citizens of America are awaiting the new American Idol. The intensity is increasing. With three contestants left, it’s no denying that we are near at declaring the 2008 American Idol.

The Americans made the right decision to exclude Jason Castro from the final three. It’s clearly correct to say that Jason is cute and he does know how to sing; nevertheless, knowing how to sing is not enough. You must know how to deliver it the way the writer and the composer want to convey the same to their listeners. On the other hand, Jason is young and there are so many opportunities available to him. This is not just his time. And based on last week’s performance the top three deserve to be on the spot where they are standing. Syesha Mercado is a lucky girl. No one had ever expected her to be on the top three. On the contrary, she has the quality of voice that will surprise you. If she will choose the right song, there is a chance that she will be the next American Idol. So much so that most of us expects either of the David’s will make it to the top. David Cook is a matured singer. His song choices suit his voice and you can see how serious he is in becoming the next American Idol. As to the younger David, he has a lot of potentials. All he must prove now to the Americans is that he can sing just any other kind of song and not singing the same type of song now and then.

Tomorrow is one of the days that we must hold on. Take a deep breath. Who could be the next American Idol? It’s all in your hands!
